Permission slips signed on the spot

Put field-trip permissions, media releases and sports waivers on a tablet at the school office, open house or pickup line. A parent signs in about a minute and the signed PDF is filed for you.

Built for

Paper forms are a lot of chasing

Every term the front office hands out the same stack and then waits for it to come back.

Guardians and students

Everyone who needs to sign, signs their own part

Mark each field as belonging to the first or second signer. The kiosk walks through them one at a time: the guardian signs, then the next person steps up.

  • Up to six signers on one document
  • Guardian name, student name and signature as separate fields
  • Required checkboxes for acknowledgements

Events and open houses

One tile for each thing a family might sign

Set up the tablet for the night: Enrolment, Field trip, Sports. Families tap the one they need. Bundle several forms behind one tile when they always go together.

  • Bundles for enrolment packs and start-of-year forms
  • Name and signature carry across documents in a bundle
  • Edit the tiles from your laptop, no touching the tablet

Shared tablets

Safe on a counter that every family touches

The kiosk only collects new signatures. It never lists other families, and it clears itself after a few idle minutes or as soon as someone finishes.

  • No list of previous signers on screen
  • Idle timer resets a half-finished form
  • Restrict the kiosk to the school network

Forms schools put on the kiosk

Anything you already have as a PDF works. These are the ones that come up most.

  • Field trip permission slip

    Guardian signature and emergency contact

  • Photo and media release

    Checkbox per use, one signature

  • Sports participation waiver

    Guardian plus student acknowledgement

  • Volunteer agreement

    For chaperones and event helpers

  • Device use agreement

    Student and guardian both sign

  • Medication consent

Your own form, your own wording

How a school uses it

  1. 1

    Upload last year's form

Drop in the PDF the office already sends home and place name, signature and date fields on it.

  2. 2

Set the tablet by the door

Create a kiosk with a tile per form or event and open its link on a tablet at the office or event table.

  3. 3

    Download the signed copies

Each signature is a flattened PDF in the signed documents list, with when it was signed and on which kiosk.

What helps schools most

  • Multiple signers

Guardian and student, or two guardians, each sign their own part.

  • Bundles

An enrolment pack becomes one tap instead of six forms.

  • Write-only kiosks

Families never see anyone else's name on a shared tablet.

  • Team roles

Give office staff member access to build forms without managing people.

Confirm who is signing

SigningKiosk records the name a person types and the signature they draw. It doesn't verify that someone is a student's guardian, so keep doing that check at your desk the way you do today. Rules on electronic consent for minors vary by place, so check with your district or lawyer.

Questions from education

Can parents sign from home?

SigningKiosk is built for a tablet on site, such as the office, an open evening or a sports sign-up table. A kiosk is a web page, so you could open its link elsewhere, but you can also limit it to your school's network.

Can one form need two signatures?

Yes. Mark fields as belonging to signer 1 or signer 2 and the kiosk takes them through each person in turn.

Where do the signed forms go?

Each one is saved as a flattened PDF in your workspace. Owners, admins and members of your workspace can download it.

Try it with your own education forms

Upload a PDF, place the fields, publish it and open the kiosk link on a tablet.
